Fox News: Shirley Phelps-Roper "God Hates Fags and America!"

Most everyone knows the scripture I am about to quote, in Matthew 7:1 the bible states clearly:

"Judge not lest ye be judged". Having said that, the bible also states in James 1: 22 "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves". It goes on to say in verse 26 "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain."

What's interesting to me is that Shirley Phelps-Roper finds it easy to forget aboout 1 Samuel 15:23 "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king." By making inflammatory comments, sanctimonious speeches and possessing the "Holier than thou" attitude, is she not rebelling against the bible? If so, is it not safe to assume from 1 Samuel 15:23 that she is just as sinful as the crowds she condemns?

Has The Onion New's once again taken it's content just a little too far? True enough the 1st Amendment gives us the right to say what we want, and while that's golden...isn't silence also golden? I'm sure any victim of kidnapping and molestation would agree! It is moments like these that should make us question, how much does free speech cost?

Has The Onion News taken things a little too far? Exactly how is this supposed to be funny? While the 1st Amendment certainly gives them the right to put something as repulsive as such out there you certainly have to wonder, what kind of a person would find humor in not only making this video but in watching it as well?
